Yes, I'm still alive.

It was pointed out to me earlier today that I haven't posted in quite a while. This is true. It's been even longer since I posted anything that wasn't locked in one way or another. So... a very brief synopsis.

Most of my time for the past several months has been taken up by work, sleep, and chasing willowisp's persistent medical problems. Ever since my own campaign reached a stopping point I've been playing in a Cthulhu-like horror campaign run by echoweaver's hubby.

Work was relatively calm for a little while but is once more escalating toward madness. The latest is that I worked my butt off to get an application ready for deployment on a given date, then at release time the customers made major and drastic changes to the requirements... and wanted it done instantly. I have attempted to educate them in the reality that it just doesn't work that way. Right now I have multiple projects in deadline mode and it's wearing on me.

We do seem to have a handle on what was causing willowisp's unending stomach upset -- side effects from one of her medications. I'll let her post whatever details she wants to share but I am so, so hoping that things go back to normal now.

I'm hoping that I can make it through a couple more weeks of brain-to-the-grindstone at the office and then take a week off. I could sure use the vacation.

There's not a lot else to report for now. Moral support, cookies, whatever, it's all welcome.
